Minooka Elementary School With approximately 2,000 students, Minooka Elementary faced a number of technology challenges: manual processes to manage all devices; application deployments to over 1,000 workstations; and the use of 20 servers, challenging space and power capacities, while limiting backup procedures. PDS designed a comprehensive Citrix Solution, delivering centralized management and control over its platform. A Citrix Xen Server solution was implemented utilizing virtualization, providing greater redundancy and higher availability. Lastly, a SonicWall CDP was designed and deployed, providing much needed true disaster recovery for the school’s systems.

The Village of Frankfort In need of a technology partner to service its daily network and system needs, PDS delivered priority on-site and remote servicing for all the village’s technology infrastructure needs. Using security solutions from both Barracuda and Symantec, PDS secured the village’s system against spam attacks and viruses.

By collaborating with the client and utilizing our Managed Services -Guardian Solution, PDS implemented 24/7 remote monitoring of key devices. This solution increased security, improved overall network performance and reduced response times. In addition, our solution allowed for remote access for employees with the full confidence of a “Total-Secure” network environment

Herscher School District Outdated technology, including a 10-year old WAN infrastructure, posed significant limitations for the Herscher School District and its 1500 students. PDS designed a gigabit to desktop solution with 600 computers, increasing speed ten-fold. Implementing a thin client environment allowed for greater control of workstations while significantly reducing the cost to upgrade and maintain the network.
